Pertussis (whooping cough) is a highly contagious and potentially deadly infection, especially for newborns. Adults can transmit pertussis to a newborn who is too young to be vaccinated. 75% of infants who get pertussis get it from family members or care takers who may or may not have symptoms. Get your Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) vaccine to protect yourself and the children in your life. Get vaccinated at one of the clinics listed below.
